The course is a product of a Minerva Project having belonged to the Socrates Programme of the European Union. The purpose of the thesis was to operationalize the course. The objective was to introduce the transformative, life-long, collaborative and web-learning methods of the course. THE RESEARCH METHOD was case study. The author collected and evaluated the research material with the help of learning diaries and portfolios. The core content of the evaluation was the life-long learning process of the author, which the studying of the course had activated. In addition to introducing her own learning process the author evaluated how up to date and suitable the course is for the use of different educational institutes, working life and NGO’s. THE RESULT OF THE THESIS is a practical introduction of the progress of a transformative learning process. It can be utilized as training material for the future web-tutors and teachers of the course. It can also be utilized in marketing, further developing and creating the success story of the course. THE SIGNIFICANT USABILITY of the course for a big group of different users is based on the following. When planning the content of the course the targets of Unesco and the European Union related to life-long learning have been included. The studying of the course helps the students to develop their team and process work skills. It also helps the students to develop their value competence."
