Founder and owner of Forward Vision Business Services. I have been designing PowerPoint presentations for over 10 years. Don't you just hate it when a speaker just uses a PowerPoint slide presentation as a replacement for his notes? You know that sort of thing I mean - screenfuls and screenfuls of text and bullet points, maybe broken up by a handful of graphs and pie charts that don't mean anything. What makes it worse is when they add loads of unnecessary swishing noises and flying in text that just leave you cross-eyed and suffering with motion-sickness. I believe that a PowerPoint presentation should be more than just words and graphs. It should be visually engaging with the audience, capitivating and able to tell a story.
