BUCZKOWICE
Our place where we live We live in a small village called Buczkowice. It is a very beautiful place. The area is peaceful and quiet. Buczkowice lies in the Silesian Beskid.On all sides mountains surround us. People are friendly and happy here. We all know and help each other.
The Silesian Beskid region is bordered by the Moravian-Silesian Beskid to the west, the Żywiecki Beskid to the southeast, Żywiecka Basin to the east, the Small Beskid to the northeast and to the north the Silesian Foothills.
A big stream flows through Buczkowice – the Żylica. This is it.
MOUNTAINS Skrzyczne (1,257 m) - the highest mountain Barania Góra (1,220 m) - the highest mountain of the Polish part of Upper Silesia Czantoria Wielka (995 m) - the highest mountain of the Czech part of the range Stożek Wielki (978 m)
We have a great summer and a cool winter. Summers are sunny but sometimes it rains. Winter is full of snow and very frosty.
