MATHEMATICAL ILLUSTRATIONS TO INTERNATIONAL FAIRY TALES

In December, children (classes) chose their favorite European fairy tales. Class 4 b chose „LITLLE RED RIDING HOOD” „Czerwonego Kapturka” Class 5 a chose „ALIBABA AND THE 40 THIEVES” „Alibaba i 40 rozbójników” Class 5 b chose „HANSEL AND GRETEL” „Jaś i Małgosia” Class 6 b chose „THE LITTLE MERMAID” „ Mała Syrenka”
In January, the task of children was to prepare a mathematical illustration of the selected European stories (fable, fairy tale). TheTechnique was arbitrary but drawings could be created only with digits, numbers and geometrical figures. Children drew and painted cut of colored paper and glue. Here are the results of their work:
