Chintan, please note the hidden slides
Very recently a message was found deep in space. Some of the best scholars, scientists, linguists and archaeologists were summoned to decipher the language. It did take a while, but they were able to put together the message. It was in fact a warning from an unknown alien civilization. It claimed about a species on a planet, some light years away from them. This species has the capability to host voraciously on the resources available on the planet they inhabit. This species is strong enough to empower any other species inhabiting the planet, size or strength does not matter. This species has learned control over the five elements and have reversed their effects for their benefit. This species also reproduces in large numbers and has rapidly grown since it first appeared on the planet. Frighteningly, this species has the power to send thousands of other species into extinction, or even all other species may indeed be extinct soon. Furthermore, this species fights within itself for the resources. What is even more worrying is this species has set out in space and has started contemplating the idea of moving on to other planets, since they have almost parasited their present planet, so this is a warning for other civilizations that may find this message, Beware!
We keep seeing such things almost every day now, in fact statistics suggest, terrorist attack news have now taken a back seat and water is the choice of media these days.
There is just a thin line between enjoy and suffice, which side do you fall in?
This slide reminds me of the Mastercard ad, “taking a shower- 135 litres, shaving with tap on – 60 litres, amount of water wasted – priceless”. Wait, did we forget something, * The 30-second wait for “warm-enough” water in shower is not considered.
The GreenPlumbers program began in Australia in 2000. A collaboration between the government, plumber/contractors, and the Master Mechanical Plumbers Services Association of Australia (MMPSAA). There is immense government support for the program. It all began when the country was in the mist of a decade long drought that has continued in the country till this day. With an 8 year head start, GreenPlumbers in Australia has grown and advanced and they have paved the way for us to duplicate the program in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Stephen Lehtonen is the managing director of GreenPlumbers. It was his instinct that let him to explore the GreenPlumbers program in Australia, and broke the deal that allowed GreenPlumbers to expand to the U.S. His bio is here to read or review.
Megan Lehtonen is current President of GreenPlumbers. Here bio is here for review.
Review current training program intent.
Electives will be launched by end of year 2009, and beginning of 2010.
We want to bring a level of respect back to the industry, and not only reclaim our title as protector of the nations health, but expand into the future, as protectors of the resources of the planet. We are the Champions of Conservation!
Are we seeing a decline in new prospects to the industry? The following slides give figures that address the need for more people entering the plumbing trade, and the lack of interest we have to date.
The GreenPlumbers program and curriculum provide the plumber with information about what the customers are asking about: HET, water-saving fixtures, grey water possibilities, rainwater catchment idea, solar thermal technology for hot water and energy efficiency as it relates to plumbing. It offers the plumbing contractor a way to differentiate from the pack and provides a timely and appropriate marketing opportunity. GreenPlumbers is a way to increase business by tapping into the new and emerging consumer market.
Not advisor, specialist

“Whether we like it or not, we have damaged the eco-system so bad, that we probably cannot repair it, but can only strive to slow down the damage process” The hardest fact to digest, today, is that some of the Municipal Corporations are in such a tight situation that they are only able to provide with 45 litres of water per capita a day, who’s to blame?
