Volume Guide Watering the Garden - A minimum size garden uses approximately 100L./hour.

Slide 4

Volume Guide Dripping taps /leaking toilets - 3 drops/ second = about68 L./day.

Group 1(Toilet Flushing) FINDINGS: 141 people/hr. x 12 = 1692 1692 people /day x 6 L. average flush = 10,152 L. of water Students flush nearly 10,152L of water/ day just by using the toilet. .

Slide 9

Group II (Washing the dishes) One activity that also affects the water supply is washing of the dishes in our school canteen. So we’ve interviewed two (2) personnel in our canteen.

Slide 10

Slide 14

Group 5 (Dripping Taps or leaks) These are their findings: 1 second. =3 drops 68L./hour x 12= 816 L./day Everyday our school’s water supply losses almost 816L of water /day.

Slide 15

Group III - General use A. Water Fountain B. Hand Wash Area This activity in our school (drinking in water fountains), also consumes lots of water.

Slide 16
