The HALI Study Why do we need a pilot study? Simple. We want to make The HALI Music MethodSM available to all children on the autistic spectrum. We want to reach families outside of our limited circle of private students and bring our program to every child with autism, giving children with ASD and their families a chance to experience a fuller and more rewarding life.

The HALI Study YES . . . Our results over the past five years are nothing short of stunning. BUT . . . Because we only have anecdotal results, we must prove scientifically that The HALI Music MethodSM does work before the program can be offered to to a wider population.

The HALI Study at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology We are proud to announce The Chicago School of Professional Psychology -- one of the nation’s premier graduate schools for Applied Behavioral Analysis -- will conduct a clinical study to scientifically determine the effects of The HALI Music MethodSM . In keeping with our mission, this study seeks to demonstrate an intervention that works here and now -- not somewhere in the distant future .

The HALI Study at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Dr. Patricia Wright, the National Director of Easter Seals Autism Services, has agreed to serve as a consultant for the study at The Chicago School. Easter Seals has expressed a very strong interest in testing The HALI Music MethodSM in the Easter Seals special education schools nationwide .

The HALI Study at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Easter Seals Autism Services will open doors to private and public schools, and special education programs throughout the US. Instead of sharing The HALI Music MethodSM with one child at a time, established use of The Method will ultimately bring The HALI Music MethodSM to every community across the globe.

The HALI Study at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology The Study is scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2010. However, the one area that continues to be a tremendous challenge and a great need is fundraising. Every penny needed to cover the costs of the study – over $400,000 – will come from private donations. We truly need your help at this time.
