Our Activities Awareness and Advocacy - To create awareness and sensitivity for attitudinal and behavioural changes among persons with disabilities about issues in disability, prevention and management. - To enable and enhance capacities of PWDs, their families, communities and organizations for the development of sustainable approaches for inclusion of PWDs and realization of their rights. - To network with Organizations, People’s movements and Government at all levels for influencing policy, action, legislation for inclusion. - To promote, support and strengthen movements of Persons with Disabilities.

Early Intervention An early intervention session in progress To cater to infants and toddlers with suspected or at-risk of delayed development in the age group of birth to 6 years. To give parents guidance regarding immunization, nutrition, feeding, sensory-motor development, speech and language development and psychosocial interventions. Sensory Integration Therapy Children with sensory integration dysfunction frequently experience problems with their sense of touch, smell, hearing, taste and/or sight. Along with this will often be difficulties in movement, coordination and sensing where one's body is in a given space. To provide sensory integration therapy as part of our regular sessions.

Community based Rehabilitation The target group is the poorest of the poor from all strata of society in unreached rural and urban areas, people with multiple and severe disabilities, women and children.

Conducting Surveys To conduct surveys in the community for identifying persons with disabilities and providing intervention services. To maintain a database of such persons with disabilities. 24 children with disabilities have been identified in the first quarter of 2010 itself and appropriate services have been provided.
