15/05/2010 Alhaurín de la Torre It used to be a small village but it has grown a lot and there are lots of new estates.

15/05/2010 Pinos and Taralpe They are two different estates. Pinos is in front of Taralpe, they are very near. Pinos is the biggest estate in the town. It has lots of big houses and almost all of them have a swimming-pool. Taralpe is a new estate. It’s smaller than Pinos and all the houses are new so not many people still live there.

15/05/2010 Viña Grande As you can see in the picture, Viña Grande is a small estate. It’s next to Taralpe and the houses are very small.

15/05/2010 Platero Platero is another estate which is divided into two parts: Platero and Platero Segundo. It's called Platero because it has got a famous restaurant called Platero. It has got lots of different houses, some of them have a swimming pool.

15/05/2010 Jardines de Alhaurín It is famous by its gardens and parks. This is a new estate. It was built five or six years ago. All of its houses are beautiful and all of them share a swimming pool.

15/05/2010 Manantiales It was the first estate in Alhaurín. It is located near Jabalcuza, a big mountain.

15/05/2010 Fuensanguínea It is between Jardines and Manantiales. Its houses are similar to the ones in Jardines. My high school is near Fuensanguínea and I live very near.

15/05/2010 Cortijos del Sol and Capellanía Cortijos is a big estate too. It is between Manantiales and El Lagar. Capellanía is in front of Cortijos. They are separated by the roundabout you can see in the picture.

15/05/2010 Retamar It is next to Capellanía. It's famous by its ice cream parlour. Its ice creams are the best I've ever eaten!

15/05/2010 El Lagar It is next to Cortijos del Sol and in front of Retamar. It’s an old estate and in the olden days It had a mill where they made oil. It has got a big famous restaurant called El Segoviano.
