C H I N A’ S Leshan is pronounced Lo-Shawn Leshan Giant Buddha The giant Buddha is located East of Leshan City in Sichuan Province near the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River.
Carving the statue began in 713 A.D.and took more than 90 years to complete.
