PCBs or Printed Circuit Boards are also called PWB or Printed Wiring Boards. These boards are very useful when it comes to mechanically supporting and electrically connecting electric elements by making the use of signal traces and conductive pathways cut out from copper sheets laminated on non-conductive substrate. PCBs are not only reliable and inexpensive but they can also be used for high production. However, it is to be noted that the initial cost of PCBs are higher in comparison to the wire-wrapped circuits.
