Slide 98

The population of the planet has tripled for the last 50 years the global economy has increased seven times. These are numbers which will go on rising headlong.

Slide 99

Our consumption is threatening: we have been cutting down forests so quickly that they have no time to grow again; we take unscrupulously the limited natural resources; we leave enormous quantities of harmful and non-dissociating wastes after us and we generate such quantities carbon dioxide that our planet cannot manage to absorb them and due to this the temperature of the atmosphere is rising constantly.

Slide 100

If we continue to live by force of centuries’ habit just drawing from natural resources without restoring them and polluting the environment unscrupulously… the mankind will hardly survive.

Slide 101

We can correct some mistakes as long as we learn from each other and help each other…
