Javelin In the Senior Boys competition there was a real battle. Last year’s winner George was ahead right up to the last round when Brendan then grabbed the lead. Despite putting in a lot of effort, George was unable to regain the lead. 33.14 to 30.60. With Mazig opting to have a go at the Shot Putt record, the way was clear for Matthew to win the U15 Boys competition. Matthew was a triple winner – with 100m and 800m dominance to add to the javelin performance. In the U13 Boys event Braden had no competition – the other U13s deciding to go for shot putt instead.
