Javelin In the Senior Boys competition there was a real battle. Last year’s winner George was ahead right up to the last round when Brendan then grabbed the lead. Despite putting in a lot of effort, George was unable to regain the lead. 33.14 to 30.60. With Mazig opting to have a go at the Shot Putt record, the way was clear for Matthew to win the U15 Boys competition. Matthew was a triple winner – with 100m and 800m dominance to add to the javelin performance. In the U13 Boys event Braden had no competition – the other U13s deciding to go for shot putt instead. Shot Putt U15 Boys new record 11.05 but with light weight as usual on Canbury Sports Days A massive improvement in the U15 Shot Record, Mazigh obliterating the old record by almost a metre. Although we traditional throw a light weight on Sports Day, Mazig will be throwing the 4kg on June 12th at the Surrey Schools Competition. Senior Boys was won by Turkay ahead of Dylan L.
