Make the theme clear and consistent. They will remember the lecture and probably what was taught in it as well.
Jobs uses certain words or phrases again and again to make everything he is speaking about

--> Call Starbucks --> Students/learners want to be excited. Show them your excitement. STUDIES HAVE SHOWN USE OF HUMOR INCREASES RETENTION CAPACITY OF STUDENTS. Don't make your students go through lecture material, Make them experience it as something ethereal. Animations, Videos make education fun. It will help them in the long run.
--> Reinventing telephony --> UI is made so that you want to lick it.
For example: - Newton often forgot to eat food. - He never married. In spite of discovering gravitation, he never “fell” in love. - Newton was a center point in the climax of blockbuster novel/movie – “Da Vinci Code”. Tell them interesting trivia about topic you are teaching. Like: - Astronauts cannot cry in space. Gravity pulls the water from your eyes down to earth and so you cry, if you are in space or on a planet there wouldn't be enough gravity to allow you to cry. “Good artists copy; great artists steal”. Don’t be afraid to show content from internet. There is ton of free interesting quality stuff on internet.
Steve jobs uses certain words over and over again to make everything sound important or interesting.

I remember when we asked our math teacher Mr. Adhikari about what is 'i'. He didnt knew. But he spent about a week researching and got an answer that an 8th grader would understand. We loved it. AND THERE IS ONE MORE THING……

How to teach like Steve Jobs Sex-up your classroom
Prologue Steve Jobs a teacher. Difficult to imagine, isn’t it. In fact, when Jobs was fired from Apple, he got invitation from two universities for teaching positions. He turned them down, as he thought he would be a terrible teacher. But I see Steve Jobs as a teacher who is teaching his customers about his products. Maybe some of his skills could be useful to teachers and trainers. So here we are - How to teach like Steve Jobs.
Setup a theme of your lecture Give a mantra to every lecture and try to make it interesting. Don't just say we will learn gravitation today. Rather say, today we will learn when apple falls down why it does not go up. Or, Why everything that goes up has to come down.
Provide Outline It is easier to drive, if the sides of the roads are lined up with glow signs. Provide outline of your lecture before beginning. Today we will learn 3 things: 1. What is gravitation? 2. How to measure it? 3. Some numerical problems to get a feel of it.
Transition topics clearly Tell them that one topic is finished and new one is starting. Be very clear. Show them the road sign, so that they can make the turn with you. So now that is how gravitation is defined. Hope everybody got it. Lets move on to our next topic. How to measure gravity? This is going to be interesting. We will see why moon rotates around earth and at what speed.
Don't give bare facts, make them interesting, Sex them up a bit Moon has 1/6th of the gravity of earth. So if you can jump 1m on earth you will be able to jump 6m on moon. So probably you can jump over your father. Gravity is weakest force in nature. A small bar magnet can overcome the gravitation force of the whole earth to pick up an iron nail.
Show Passion and enthusiasm Whoever has heard Steve Job's presentation, knows that he has the ability to get people excited about anything. Much of that comes from the fact that he loves his job which is to demo Apple's products. He has done that since Apple launched about 30 years ago.
Show don't just tell Show animation? Better show in real. Enact it out yourselves. If you are teaching physics, give a demonstration in the class. Physics lectures at MIT, Walter H. G. Lewin
Show don't just tell If you are teaching Roman History, show them Colosseum on Google Earth.
Use Humor Too many teachers get into lecture mode. They become stiff and boring. Remember – You can teach without being boring. Students want to be entertained. Make learning a fun experience.
Use analogies to explain obscure points Question: “What is the function of the mitochondrion?” Answer: “The mitochondrion is the "power plant" of the cell.” This mechanical analogy will surely be easier to remember and recall. Relate what students already know with new concepts in your lectures.
If you are teaching Gravitation, don’t just limit to physics. Rather tell them some interesting stuff about Newton. Everybody likes stories. Don’t just tell what’s in text book, give them full story
Sell Yourself and sell your subject Act like salesmen. Tell them why you are good, why your subject is important. Students will listen to you, only if they feel that, what you are teaching is important. You can lie a little in class as well, as long as it does no harm.
Be thorough, be prepared Intentions are important. People especially students can smell it instantly. Whether the teacher is herself motivated to teach, whether the teacher knows her subject. All this shows up instantly. Be prepared. Rehearse. Practice your lecture.
Be up to date Do you have an email account? Do you have a facebook account? Do you have a blog? Do you have a twitter account? Do you have a biggyan account?
Surprise your students Bottom line - Every lecture should have at least one memorable moment. Show them something that they will talk about outside the class.
Accept when you don't know When you do not know accept it. You can tell them later. You can setup a forum for your class where students put up their problems and you can answer them in your free time at your ease. Students can also solve each other's problems using the forum. You will come of as someone they can trust.
