You can begin making selections by choosing one of the tabs

By selecting the “Browse” tab, you can view voice threads created by you and by others and sort in a variety of ways. You can also search, using the search bar.

From the browse tab, you can also select “What’s a voicethread” to view a video tutorial and learn all about what you can do with voicethreads and how to create them.

The create tab will allow you to upload your own images, videos, music. You can upload them from your computer, webcam, or other internet resources.

After selecting “my computer,” a pop up window will appear. You can then search on your computer for which picture you would like to upload.

Your picture will then appear on the lower left with editing options. the final product appears above, framed in yellow.

You can title your document and link it

By selecting “Media Sources,” you can upload images from other websites. You can even add commentary, then post it back to that website.

Media sources also includes a link to the New York Public Library, which holds thousands of images to browse through.

The “MyVoice” tab displays all the threads created by you.

Your account and Groups & Contacts are available from most tabs.

Your account settings are available to be changed at any time. Your settings page also keeps track of your activity.

By selecting “Groups and contacts,” you can add friends and classmates to your contacts list. Select the button “Add +”

After selecting “Add +” You can fill in the information to add your contact.

After adding your contact, you will see the name appear on your contacts list.
