GUSTO! A Happy Conure

Greetings, Computer Power Users, Please allow me to introduce myself.

My Name is GUSTO!

And I am a Gold Cap Conure An especially handsome one at that As you can plainly see

Conures are a medium sized parrot. We originate in Brazil and South America. I, however, live happily in Mountaindale, New York

In the Wild I would roost in trees with my buddies and eat all the fruits and berries that I could find.

At home with the Schmitts I have a great cage that I protect and I have exciting colorful food. But I usually leave the purple ones for last. Blehh!

I also get a lot of other snacks, too My favorite is homemade whole wheat bread! YUM!

And other treats like Matzoh on Passover

I am a very clean young bird I take a bath every day

But my favorite bath is in my little teeny, tiny water dish

I’m so handsome I have inspired works of art Such beauty!
