Remapping your keyboard Click on this keyboard icon This screen is where you will adjust which keys correspond to certain codes within the program. For now you can leave these as they are defaults, but as you become familiar with the program you may want to adjust them according to the ease in which you reach certain keys. You will want to make a note of what code corresponds to each key, you will learn more about this throughout the training– and this will be important information later.
Setting up attack combinations Click on this icon Click on the ‘Attack Combinations’ You can either modify the existing or delete all of the existing and enter your own. Click on ‘Add’
Setting up attack combinations You need to decide on a code for your attacks. The code can be a letter followed by either a letter or a number. The letters that you can use are limited by those already used in code. P, X, V and C are available For example: P1, X2, CD, V4 Use a code that will be easy for you to remember.
Setting up attack combinations Lets set up the code for a low quick set in front of the setter We will use P1 for the code One for the description Quick for the ball type and Center for the target attacker You will also need to designate the starting zone of the attack by placing an arrow on the court diagram.
Setting up attack combinations Add all of the sets that your team runs, modifying each attack combination to reflect the tempo, target attacker and starting zone of that set.
Adding Rosters (Teams) Click on this icon Click new In the code box use the abbreviation for the team, or something you will easily recognize, then for the team name enter the whole name. (ex CSU, Colorado State University) You will need to input the rosters for the teams that you are scouting. I recommend that you input as many rosters as possible pre-season so that you don’t have to worry about it later.
Adding Rosters (Teams) Enter the jersey number, then ID (use ‘L’ to indicate a libero) Code is the first three letters of the players last name then ‘-’ followed by the first three letters of their first name Enter the last and first name The rest of the information is optional Arrow down and fill out the entire roster
Adding Rosters (Teams) For training purposes make sure you have at least two teams in: Your own roster A dummy team (just make up the players and numbers)
