Why standups? Location Connection The Internet can give you both IF … you know how to use it.
Location: GeoTagging Why do we care about location? It gets us out of the office. It tells people where we are. It can connect us with sources. Third Places
Location, location, location It can guide the news process.
Another service?
YouTube? Really? Where is the traffic? Why reinvent the wheel? Can YouTube do something you can’t?
Maybe … What could you do with annotations? What if they were collaborative?
Who’s doing this?
What about connection? What does the future hold for broadcasters? Will you work for a big media organization? Or will you have to branch out on your own?

Summary: In this presentation I made for students in the Ohio University chapter of RTDVA, I demonstrate how geotagging and using public video sharing services, such as YouTube, enables broadcasters to enhance their credibility with their audiences.
