Music Education Awareness Concert in Chicago Hip-Hop Artist: Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Common. Hip-Hop Artist all from Chicago. Concert will be held to raise awareness of Music Education. As well as Anti-Gang Efforts Worldwide. The cost of the tickets will go to the Vh1 Save The Music Foundation. The money from the tickets will help the Foundation provide various schools and causes with money to keep Music education with various resources for students. If the status quo is met, left over money will go back to the community to help fight against gangs.

Music Education Awareness Mission Statement Continue the success of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation The foundation has provided more than $47 million in new musical instruments to 1,750 public schools nationwide. Attempt to have a concert. Proceeds will go to the foundation and neighboring schools within the districts near the Concert.

Music Education Awareness Pros Concert will be televised. Various events and festivities during the week/weekend. Including but not limited to.. Skateboarding contest, break-dancing competitions, graffiti showcase etc.. Possible Co-Sponsorship with Red-Bull Known for Involvement in Music Culture. Music Education Awareness Cons The concert will be held in one city. It may not receive enough media attention. Will the concert exceed the number of people in attendance needed to raise enough money for the cause? All in All, The Concert can be a stepping stone for future Hip-Hop Artist and musicians to get involved in their community and give back. The festival may be able to show mediums between various art cultures and how they can get involved to alleviate various problems in the community.

Music Education Awareness Why The Festival May Work? Previously in 2010, Lupe Fiasco performed during a show in West Palm Beach for the Jose Cuervo liquor Festival. Since he does not believe in Alcoholism, Gave proceeds to various organizations in West Palm Last year, Lupe Fiasco Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro during an event known as Summit. To raise awareness of the billions of people worldwide who lack access to sanitary drinking water Common & Kanye West are also known to be active in programs, organizations and events dealing with high-school and collegiate levels of education nationwide. It is still prevalent that Hip-Hop Artist are doing public service for the good of their communities.

Various organizations coming together to promote anti-violence efforts, community involvement, the importance of extra-curricular activities for students, and public service for citizens across the nation. Why is this important? The Vh1 Save the Music Foundation has been heavily involved in the community since 1997. More than a decade later the foundation is needed more than ever during a pivotal change in the education system in the United States. Moreover, Chicago’s suburbs have dealt with an increase in gang violence. Public service that can be televised to reach various households/demographics worldwide.

Music Education Awareness Thank you for your time and the opportunity to share my dreams with you. I believe that I speak for a vast majority of people when I thank you for donating your time, effort, and money into a cause such as Music Education. Our youths are taught that they can make a difference and that organizations and the community can stand behind what you believe when the government is not able to do so. Once again thank you and I hope that we can find a fun and charismatic way to get the community involved in various matters. I believe that once your foundation stands behind this festival other organizations such as Red-Bull will stand behind the movement, the goal, and the bigger picture. I hope that we can, at some level, raise awareness of the threats that gangs have placed in urban and suburban communities in the United States.
