How Important is Appearance?
Albert Mehrabian reported in his book,
Silent Messages, that liking and in your case viewing is based on 7% verbal, 38% vocal and a whopping 55% visual. Within 12 seconds over two dozen judgments have been made based solely on appearance and that affects what is heard and if we continue listening.
7% Verbal what’s being said
38% Vocal voice, diction
55% Visual appearance

Company History
Colour Basis was founded by Christi Schreiber in 2005 after working in the TV and film business as an actress, model, stylist and professional artist for almost two decades. She was approached by Sandra Connell, President of Talent Dynamics, to work as an independent consultant with their
clientele on hair, makeup, grooming
and wardrobe. Christi expanded the
level of service offered through
Colour Basis by designing a makeup
