Goliath and Bebe’s World: What They Do Goliath & Bebe's World is a dedicated, true no-kill animal rescue, shelter, and sanctuary located on 45 acres in Madison County, Florida. Goliath and Bebe’s World: How They Came to Be Goliath Goliath was a Great Dane who only lived to be five, and was neglected for most of his life. The only caring time he knew came from Nedra Wooley, President and Founder of Goliath and Bebe’s World. Goliath and Bebe’s World: How They Came to Be Bebe Bebe was a 2 pound 8 ounce kitten that never got any bigger, and had to be messaged by Nedra Wooley, President and Founder of Goliath and Bebe’s World three times a day just so she would eat. Goliath and Bebe’s World: What They Have Done Animals deemed unadoptable will have a permanent home at the sanctuary, where they will continue to receive loving care throughout their lives. Health and behavioral problems are the most common reasons animals become unadoptable. As a result of their past efforts, 1000's of rescued animals have been adopted with a success rate of 98%. Unfortunately, not all the animals that come to Goliath & Bebe's World can be adopted. Goliath and Bebe’s World: Financial Troubles The primary benefactor for Goliath and Bebe’s World, Lydia Cladek, is currently facing federal charges of cheating investors out of more than $100 million. Cladek bought the 45 acres for the shelter, which is now being foreclosed on by Bank of America. At this time, there is 197,000 left to pay on the mortgage, with approximately 25% of that raised so far. Unfortunately, the day to day running of the operations competes with the financial resources needed to pay off the mortgage.
