Prepare To Get Through The Interview Once you have decided to work as a flight attendant, the next task is to prepare yourself for the career. The biggest hurdle will be the interview. There are thousands who came for the interview but were not chosen, simply because they had failed in the selection process mainly due to poor preparation.

Get Help, Can Be Your Way To Prepare For the Interview If you are fresh from high school, or going for your first job’s interview, you are facing bigger challenges. You may consider ways to help you prepare for the interview. You may get help from you family or friends.

The Selection Process The airline will judge your capability to perform the job. The decision will be made based on your past records, e,g your education and your experience. The main input to the decision will come from the interview, it is how you carry yourself, what and how you say it and the message and perception you have created.

Language Skill is Critical Language skill - this is critical especially if the language of the travel industry is not the mother's tongue. The preparation takes time and attending language courses is recommended for those who need to improve his language. An airline may want to do a written test. You may be asked to write 200 word essay about “The job of Cabin Crew” or other topic. If you English is not to the expectation, there is no way that you are able to do it.

You Are Judged on what you say plus Much More….  Your Disposition - poised and professional. The body language will give certain message to the interviewers. How you interact with others during your group interview. Always maintain your composure and your smiles.

You Thinking Skill Cognitive skills - ability to reason out and think quickly. There are time that the interviewers will ask something that they know you would not be able to answer. It is not the answer that they want, it is the way you solve the problem. The way you see the problem and work to solving it, reflects your maturity.

Test on Your Commitment  Airline Knowledge - This is an indicator of your seriousness to get the job. If a person want the job, he or she should know what the job is about. Certainly he has done some research on it. Most first time applicants will have a very limited knowledge about the airline industry. This is expected. You need to research about the airline, read a bit on the history of the airline and also about the achievements.

Interview Skill However all these are tested within the short period of the interview. That interview skill is critical.
