Traditionally, we have a page in each students progress folder that records their reading over the year. Once they have read 50 books they receive a reading ribbon for their jersey. The intention of this task is to motivate students to read, exploring new types of books and different authors. Timetoast allows for an interactive reading log, providing the opportunity for students to share with each other their thoughts about what they have read, while still recording their total number of books read.
