Weather

Summer in Iceland Heat is about 12-18 °C

Autumn in Iceland The heat is around 0-10°C

Winter in Iceland The temperature is about - 10 to +5 °C

The sky and the light

This is a picture of Breki. It is night time in summer. In summer the sun doesn’t set and it is bright 24 hours a day.

In autumn we have a lot of very nice sunsets

This is a picture of the northernlights. We see them sometimes in the fall but they are more common in winter. The mountains name is Bláfjöll

Migratory birds

This is the Golden Plover. The Golden Plover is a migratory bird. The Golden Plover comes and marks the arrival of the spring. But at the end of summer the Golden Plover gathers and prepares their flight to warmer countries.

This is Arctic Tern. The Arctic Tern is a migratory bird.

The colors of nature

Autumn and summer In summer the color of nature is green. In autumn it changes and becomes colorful

Autumn And Summer This is Þingvellir (national park). As you can see in Summer everything is green and nice. In Autumn everything is brown, red and a little bit orange.

The sheep corrals in Iceland

In the autumn sheep farmers gather the sheep from the mountains and put them in corral.

In the corral the farmers find their sheep because the have marked them when they wear borne.

Then the farmers bring their sheep to their farm and they go either in the barn or to the slaughterhouse

In the winter is very cold and we haft to dress well

We spend our daytime differently

The school starts again in autumn

In autumn we start to play more inside We watch more TV and DVD’s and play more computer games

In autumn we start to train inside sports like basketball, handball, judo, karate and gymnastics and so forth.
