About Sol Zalez Sol Zalez is unquestionably one of the most innovative Hip-Hop recording artists in his time.  With his debut Kolture Konserving in 2002, he has entranced the crowds with his witty lines and highly energizing performance. There is a word about his soon to be released project Protest Rap with Grizzly Adams of The Custodian of Records brings back the once prevalent conscience-minded, street sound in hiphop culture.

Development of Sol Zalez’s Unique Style The development of Sol Zalez unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical and enviornmental influences.  Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Sol was always surrounded by different forms  of music constantly. Sol Zalez’s father and his grand-father are outstanding guitarist and this was his first exposure to a wealth of music as a child

His Journey To Music Sol Zalez’s first journey into learning an instrument himself came when he started to play the piano at just 8 years old. Later he began to write rhymes, which he continued with for 2 years before finally picking up a guitar at the age of 14, a decision which he never looked back from. After leaving high school to attend the Institute of Audio Research at 17, Sol's style began to develop rapidly,  eventually leading him to help co-develop with Guiness Stout, the mega hip- hop group "Forbidden Chapters" in 1999.  Currently, he is finishing up his latest project with the Custodian of Records titled "Protest Rap" and is part of the up and coming movement in Hip Hop called the No Name Society with DVD's available soon.
