Our first facility This teaching space was donated for use by one of my students. The room although rustic and small gave us a place to meet all together which was the most important thing. A little small but, served the purpose. We had no white board, limited chairs, light and only one table.

Our second and current facility This teaching space has been perfect except that it is a little bit too small. The new space will provide much more room for teaching students.

Our new and future facility -Construction of the facility is currently finished and ready for use. -The new room will be used for English classes and the old space will be now used for the After School program.

Vecinos -Currently operating -Project managers (myra Ayers, Polly Keary) -Presently working with 3 rural elementary schools by supporting them with school supplies at the beginning of the school year. -currently working with over 480 students and faculty -www.adelantenow.org/vecinos

-Scheduled to open when classes resume in February of 2009 -The afterschool program will be offered twice a day. -Students will be able to receive help with all their studies -Students in the English classes will be expected to volunteer their time to help tutor elementary middle and high school students. Afterschool program

-scheduled to start in January of 2009 -Supports single mothers starting or returning back to college to get their degree -Adelante will share the cost of tuition, books, transportation and or childcare in an effort to take away barriers single women face when trying to complete their education -participants will be expected to share part of the costs as well as maintain a good grade point average College Bound program
