CYBER BULLYING STATISTICS Over half of adolescents and teens have been bullied online, and about the same number have engaged in cyber bullying. More than 1 in 3 young people have been threatened online. Over 25%of adolescents and teens have been bullied repeatedly through their cell phones or the Internet.

WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT CYBER BULLYING? Install filtering and blocking software Keep your computer easily viewable Talk regularly with your child about on-line activities and provide consequences for inappropriate behavior
WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT CYBERBULLYING CONT’D Set firm guidelines for cell phone use Encourage your child to tell you immediately if he/she is a victim of cyber-bullying. Tell your child not to respond to the bully
