The games: from grandparents until today 2009 - 2011 “Baba – Oarba“ (“Blindfolded”) This game is one of Romanian children’s favourite indoor and outdoor games. The number of players varies :from 10-20 or as many as possible and can be played by children at any ages, especially from 10 to 11 years old. The rules: all the children gather in a circle. The leader of the game will choose a child to start the game. The leader will blindfold the player and he’ll tie him/her. The child will be tied with a scarf in order not to see the others. The others walk around, near him/her. The child who was tied has to catch someone and to guess who is the player who has been caught by touching him/her. He/she is allowed to try three times If he/she does not succeed at first, will continue playing until he/she guesses the name of that who caught, but not more for 3 trials , because will be out of the game. The game will go on with the next child. The winners of the game are those who can guess fast the name of the other children. Şcoala cu clasele I – VIII Dăiţa
