Slide 3

I End 1 o Lord! Make me; Mould me; Shape me – So that you are not ashamed of me!

Slide 4

I End 2 So bless me, Lord, that each day, as I walk the pilgrim way, I may, with wonder in my eyes, seek the Beauty that is God! And, each day, may I do my humble task, helping a brother here, a sister there, to lift the load on the rough road of life. And each day, may I pray: - “In pleasure, pain; in loss and gain; in shine and rain; Thy Will be done!”

Slide 5

I End 3 O Lord, my mind is restless as a storm-tossed boat. Do Thou quieten it that I may see clearly what is Thy Will for me! And grant me the strength to do what Thou wouldst have me do – lovingly, gently, faithfully, without haste, without a thought of what “others” might say – purely as an offering unto Thee! It is in the doing of Thy Will that man attains to Peace and his Highest Good!

Slide 6

I End 4 Thou knowest everything, Beloved! Let Thy Will always be done! In joy and sorrow, my Beloved! Let Thy Will always be done!

Slide 7

I End 5 So bless me, Lord, that living in a world in which everyone seems to be chasing the shadow – shapes of pleasures and possessions and power, I may keep my gaze fixed on Thee! Let me not run after the things which sustain death, but seek only those things which sustain life. What shall I do with stones from the earth, with silver and gold, with stalks of plants, or the spittle of caterpillars?

Slide 8

I End 6 I love You, God! I want to love You, more and more! I want to love You more than anything in the world! I want to love You to distraction, to intoxication! Grant me pure love and devotion for Your Lotus Feet. And so bless me that the world-bewitching Maya, may not lead me astray! Anda make me, Blessed Master, an instrument of Your help and healing, in this world of suffering and pain!

Slide 9

I End 7 WASH ME CLEAN, LORD! Lured by temptations, I have fallen again, O Lord! I have sinned against the Light! Thus have I heard that one of Thy many Names is Patita-pavana, the lifter of the fallen ones. I come to Thee to make a clean breast of my sinfulness. Wash me, cleanse me, make me pure – so that I may never be entangled again in Maya´s snare!

Slide 10

I End 8 If You are with me, Lord, who can be against me? And if I am with You, how can a difficult day ever come upon me? There is no difficulty, no danger, no problem, which You and I cannot handle together!

Slide 11

I End 9 O Lord, Thou art so near, yet I see Thee not! Thy Voice speaketh to me, yet I hear Thee not! Take me into the depths within where I may behold the unveiled glory of Thy beauteous Face, and hear Thy flute voice. Teach me to seek Thee always and turn to Thee as my sole refuge!

Slide 12

I End 10 So bless me, Lord, that as I walk life´s pathway, I may never forget that though I received from my parents the rich gift of the human birth, it is from my Gurudeva that I have received the gift of eternal life!

Slide 13

I End 11 So bless me, Lord, that I may never forget that I am but a broken instrument in Thy Hands. Thou art the One Worker: and Thy works are ever the works of mercy. All glory be unto Thee!

Slide 14

I End 12 May I, O Lord, never lose the sense of Thy tender care and loving protection. Thou art my Mother: I am Thy child! Let me live as a child – free from all care and anxiety. Let me grow in the faith that the Mother provides wherever She guides!

Slide 15

I End 13 So bless me, Lord, that as I walk life´s pilgrim-path, I may love and laugh – love every one, even those that despise me – and laugh in all circumstances, howsoever adverse they be. Teach me, in all conditions, to rely on Thee and to strain my ear to catch Thy heavenly music. He who hears Thy Song is ever at peace-with himself and the world!

Slide 16

I End 14 O Lord, impure am I and full of sins. Yet this I know, if Thou wilt look on me in mercy, my heart will be cleansed whiter than snow! And I, too, shall be admitted into Thy radiant Presence, Lord!

Slide 17

I End 15 MY MIND IS AGITATED My mind is agitated: my heart is restless: my thoughts have gone berserk. I am helpless. I surrender the thread of my life in Thy safe Hands. I repeat the prayer again and again: - Om, Shanti, Peace! Om, Shanti, Peace! The storm is quelled and peace prevails!

Slide 18

I End 16 Lord, I cannot see my way: the future is hid from me. I do not care to! Enough that Thou seest it all, and that I see Thee!

Slide 19

I End 17 O Lord, keep me forever at Thy doorstep. To see Thee, even from afar, is to live. Not to see Thee is to wither and die!

Slide 20

I End 18 O Lord, grant me a virtuous heart – a heart that may flow in a stream of sympathy to a broken world. I do not seek beauty of form, for this have I heard that one whose face is comely but whose morals are bad is like a vessel of gold filled with poison.

Slide 21

I End 19 So bless me Lord, that as the daisy turns to the sun, I may always turn to Thee! May I be as a flower, content to grow in sweetness, day by day. And with my fragrance, may I bring some little joy into the joyless lives of some!

Slide 22

I End 20 O Lord! Thou hast given me much and forgiven me more. So bless me that I, too, may learn to give and forgive – and in my heart bear no grudge against anyone. So bless me, that with every breath of my being, I may thank Thee, praise Thee, and love Thee! And mayst Thou, Blessed Master, help me to break the walls of this self-created prison house and free me from bondage to my self!

Slide 23

I End 21 So bless me Lord, that in every thought and word and deed, I may be true to Thee! The world is nothing – a zero. Thou art my All!

Slide 24

I End 22 O Lord, grant that I may live and move and have my being in Thee. May I never forget Thou art my Refuge and Resting Place. With one hand may I cling to Thy Lotus Feet and, with the other, discharge my duties – and serve the poor and forlorn, in this world of tragedy and tears.

Slide 25

I End 23 RUSH TO MY RESCUE, LORD! Lord, for no fault of mine, I find myself in this situation of danger, death, destruction. In my heart is the prayer of Draupadi: - Tuma bina meri kaun khabar lay, Govardhana Girdhari! O Thou, who for the sake of Thy devotees didst lift up a mountain on Thy little finger, who but Thee wilt come to my rescue! Forsake me not in this hour of dire need! But rush to my rescue, O Merciful One!

Slide 26

I End 24 There is nothing ugly in this world, Lord! So bless me that I may not be deluded by outer form. The form is what Thou hast given to man. To find fault with the form is to find fault with Thee!

Slide 27

I End 25 Without Thee, I suffer the pangs of death. Without Thee, life is barren as desert sands. When wilt Thou come, O Lord, and meet Thy maid who hath sought Thee for centuries? O Lord, when will this game of hide and seek cease?

Slide 28

I End 26 So bless me, Lord, that I may learn to love and laugh. May I love everyone, even those who love me not, who understand me not, who have wronged me, spread scandals against me, exploited me or taken undue advantage of me. And may I laugh in all situations and conditions of life, knowing that there is a meaning of Thy mercy in all that happens!

Slide 29

I End 27 Teach me, O Lord, to pray, to do, to dare. To tread the difficult path that leadeth upwards – to reach, at last, the Goal of Endless Light, where “I” disppears, alone Thou ART!

Slide 30

I End 28 I seek Thy blessings, Lord! So fashion my soul into fairness that my beloved Gurudeva may love me more and more – and I may be as attractive to him as he is to me!

Slide 31

I End 29 O Lord! I am still lost in the lore of less and more. And time is swiftly passing by. My tenure is drawing to a close. I find that I am empty-handed. My savings are so meagre. What account shall I render when life comes to a sudden stop? Save me. O Thou who art the Saviour of the fallen and the forlorn!

Slide 32

I End 30 O Lord, though each one of us is unique in his or her own way, within everyone of us there abides the One Universal Self – the One and the Same. This is what makes all of us spiritually one. There is no separation. I and my brother are one! So bless me that in the hurry and scurry of life, I may never lose sight of this fact – and behold the One Face divine in everyone who meets me – and in every experience that comes to me.

Slide 33

I End 31 I AM IN A STATE OF CRISIS Lord, I am in a state of crisis and know not which way to turn. I turn to the right, I turn to the left, I turn in front, I turn behind. I see only darkness. I turn within – and see the twinkling of a star. You are that Star. And if You are with me, within me, by me, beside me, no power on earth can lay me low! All glory be unto Thee!

Slide 34

I End 32 Lord, in the midst of daily work, if ever I forget Thee, do Thou forget me not! Thou art my strength in all the trials and tribulations of life! And so bless me, Blessed Master, that I may do nothing, say nothing, think nothing, which may displease Thee!

Slide 35

I End 33 O Lord, abide with me even as a mother abides with her children. And though I falter and fall – as I must – be Thou by me. Without Thee there is none to whom I may turn!

Slide 36

I End 34 O Lord, life is full of a million distractions and the mind is like a monkey, jumping from one thought to another. In the midst of so much noise, it is so difficult to hear Your still, small flute-like Voice, which speaketh to me in the heart within. Grant me the grace of ekagrata-one-pointedness of the mind – so that in the midst of the day´s work, I may have a few minutes of silence – a few minutes of one-to-one communion with You. May I be so blessed as to hear Your Voice and behold Your beauteous Face, full of tender beauty and grace!

Slide 37

I End 35 O Lord, I look for You here, there, everywhere – but find You not. So bless me that I may learn to enter the Shoonya – the empty Void within. Empty me of the ego – the self of passion and pride, of lust, hatred and greed – and fill me with Your Self. For it is the empty alone that are filled.

Slide 38

I End 36 O Lord, the pain that the heart feels from a single moment´s separation from Thee, is more precious than all the wealth of the world. This pain is so sweet – sweeter than honey, sweeter than nectar. Continue to grant me this pain, Beloved, so that, forgetting all else, I may sing to Thee the nightingale´s song of sorrow!

Slide 39

I End 37 O Lord, make me a little stone in Thy temple, singing the one song: - Thou Art! Alone Thou Art, O King of this aspiring Heart!

Slide 40

I End 38 I hear Your Voice, Beloved of this aspiring heart. It invites me to enter the silence of the soul within. But the world with all its worries and woes and cares keeps me away. Bless me so that leaving everything to Your care, I may come running to You and kiss Your Lotus Feet with the lips of my heart. What a wonderful, beatific, ecstatic experience this!

Slide 41

I End 39 I HAVE FAILED, LORD! In spite of my best efforts, Lord, I have failed. I need strenght, I need courage, I need the faith that in whatever happens, there is a meaning of Thy mercy. Grant me the wisdom that regards failures not as stopping stones but as stepping stones. The pathway to success is paved with failures.

Slide 42

I End 40 O Lord, Thou art not afar. A thin veil separates Thee from me. The veil will not be lifted without bhakti, pure love and devotion for Thee. Grant me the gift of bhakti-deep, intense yearning for Thy Lotus Feet – that the veil may be lifted and I may behold Thee, face to face!

Slide 43

I End 41 So bless me, Lord, that I may learn the one only lesson i need to learn – utter dependence on Thee!

Slide 44

I End 42 O Lord, I have strayed afar: Take the wanderer Home!

Slide 45

I End 43 So bless me, Lord, that everyday of my life may rise as an offering of love unto Thee! Mayst Thou be my Unseen Companion in all my ways of living!

Slide 46

I End 44 O Lord, so bless me that I may learn to see things as You see them, and to love all persons as You love them. Then, indeed, to me the world will be God-filled! Ishavasyam idam sarvam! Wherever I turn, there Thou art!

Slide 47

I End 45 O Lord, keep me away from the vanity of words. And so bless me that, through the doing of Thy Will, I may be ever united to Thee, my Love and my All!

Slide 48

I End 46 Tiny is the house of my heart, O Lord, widen it that it may receive Thee! Broken is the house of my heart – renew it, that it may be worthy of Thee! Unclean is the house of my heart: may it be washed whiter than snow! My deepest longing will be fulfilled when Thou wilt dwell in the house of my heart forever and forever more – and I shall live and move and do my daily work in Thy radiant presence, Lord!

Slide 49

I End 47 O Lord, grant me a lowly heart which may rejoice in cold and heat, in praise and censure, in pleasure and pain, in health and sickness, in prosperity and adversity. Kindle in my tiny heart love immense for Thy Lotus Feet! Let my yearning for Thy Lotus Face grow from more to more. And help me to trust everything to Thy loving care!

Slide 50

I End 48 I HAVE TO FACE AN INTERVIEW I have to face an interview, Lord! Let me face it in the faith that Thou art the One who questions, as also the One who answers. I am so ignorant: Your wisdom is illimitable. What is there Thou dost not know, Lord? I am but a spectator, a looker-on! Let me enjoy the “show”! In any case, the result will be as Thou dost desire. So why need I worry or be anxious, Lord?

Slide 51

I End 49 My master and my Lord, weak am I and frail – and so heavy and dense. Thou art the Ocean of mercy and compassion. Great as are my trespasses, Thy mercy is infinitely greater. I take refuge in Thy mercy. So bless me that I, too, may be merciful in my judgement over others or when I get angry or excited. Thy mercy maketh everything beautiful – including me in my anger and my brother when he hurts.

Slide 52

I End 50 O Lord, do Thou come and dwell within my mind and heart that they may expand and embrace the entire creation. I and my brother are not apart from each other. We are but parts of the One Whole. So bless me that I may give myself up wholly to Thee and Thy creation which travaileth in the agony of pain!

Slide 53

I End 51 So bless me, Lord, that I may ever sing Thy praises and glorify Thee in the humble, little work Thou hast entrusted to me! May I never be impatient or weary in Thy service. That is the way to peace that passeth, surpasseth understanding!

Slide 54

I End 52 O Lord, so long as I am away from Thee, I keep drifting from unrest to unrest. In the name of truth I stumble, again and again, in the ditch of the ego. O Lord, have mercy on me and keep me close – very, very close – to Thee! In Thy Presence is true love and joy and peace!

Slide 55

I End 53 O Lord, I seek neither wealth nor power, nor the pleasures of this or the next world. I need Thee and Thee alone! Grant me the gift of longing-deep yearning – for Thy Lotus Feet. Grant me the gift of tears – that I may keep awake at night and meditate and, during the day time, help as many as I can to lift the load on the rough road of life!

Slide 56

I End 54 Wherever Thou take me, Lord, keep me close to Thee. In all my work, may I never lose sight of Thee. Teach me to turn within and live in constant awareness of Thy Holy Presence. And may my daily life rise as an offering of love unto Thee!

Slide 57

I End 55 O Lord, make me humble as a blade of grass! Make me gentle as a drop of dew! Make me forbearing as a tree! And so bless me that I may honour others without seeking any honours for myself!

Slide 58

I End 56 TO THE EXAMINATION HALL Lord, though I’ve studied my portions carefully, my heart is full of fear! To be nervous is to lose half the battle. To be nervous is to burn mental energy to no useful purpose. To be nervous is to forget, for the time being, many things that I know. Help me not to be nervous, Lord! Let me move on to the examination-hall with a song in my heart and a prayer on my lips:- The sea is vast: My boat is frail. I trust in Thee: And all is well! Let me trust in Thee, Lord, and all is and will ever be well!

Slide 59

I End 57 So bless me, Lord, that when the mind wishes to retaliate, I may hold my tongue. Teach me to be patient – in the face of provocation!

Slide 60

I End 58 O Lord, take away my heart and, in its place, grant me Thy Heart!

Slide 61

I End 59 O Lord, teach me the supreme lesson that if I would reform the world, I must begin with myself.

Slide 62

I End 60 The fish cannot live without water: nor can I live without Thee, Lord! Thou art my Mother, and Thou my Father art; and Thou art my friend, my Comrade on the pathways of life! In all the mutations, of time and history – birth after birth – Thou hast been my Brother, and I have lacked nothing! Thou, too, art my Bridegroom, Lord! Thou wilt never lose hold on Thy maid! Teach me to cling to Thee as the vine clings to the trunk of the tree!

Slide 63

I End 61 O Silent One, in silence I come to Thee! Silence is my worship: silence is my prayer: silence is my scripture and silence is the hymn of adoration I sing to Thee! Thou dost hear the voice of silence: and Thy answer is – Silence! Silence! Silence! Om Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!

Slide 64

I End 62 Innumerable, O Lord, are my sins, and countless are my trespasses. But Thy mercy exceeds them all! Thou hast given me a chance to live anew! Grant me the wisdom that knows right from wrong – and grant me the strength to tread the steep path!

Slide 65

I End 63 When Krishna smiled, flowers bloomed in Brindaban! Do Thou smile on me, O Lord, that flowers, fragrant and fair, may blossom in the Brindaban of my heart! May each flower declare: - “I love Thee, Lord! May I be a sacrifice unto Thee!”

Slide 66

I End 64 O Lord, drench me in the waters of Thy Love! May I love Thee with every breath of my being. And may I seek to bring sunshine into the lives of those that dwell in the darkness of delusion, depression, despair!

Slide 67

I End 65 IN THE FACE OF DEATH I have lost a dear one, Lord! He was dearer to me than life. He has suddenly been snatched away from me. Without him I feel so lonely and lost, so full of fear and frustrations. In this day of my bereavement, give me back the faith that though I have lost a dear one, You are still with me. And that is all that I need. Abide with me, Lord!

Slide 68

I End 66 I am but a thorn: Thou, Beloved, art the Rose Divine – ever pure, fragant and fair, beyond compare! The more I contemplate Thee, the more am I fashioned into Thy fairness, Lord!

Slide 69

I End 67 Beloved, everything around me and every experience that comes to me can help me to draw closer to You and to love You more deeply. Grant me the sense to respond to everything and everyone in the right way!

Slide 70

I End 68 O Lord, grant me a heart that may beat with every human heart; may weep with every human tear; may sing with every human song; may delight with every human rapture; may regard the woes of creatures as its own – a heart that may unite me to all creation!

Slide 71

I End 69 O Lord, let me not pray to be saved from the difficulties and dangers of life, but to be fearless and full of courage in facing them! Let me not ask for the stilling of pain, but for the spirit to conquer it, and absorb the wisdom it brings!

Slide 72

I End 70 O Lord, Thou art the stealer of hearts. When wilt Thou steal my hear and set me free from bondage to the allurements and entanglements of the world – its pleasures, possessions and power? I long to be Thy captive, Lord!

Slide 73

I End 71 Guide me, Lord, one day at a time. Thou alone knowest what is good for me. In Thy Wisdom and Love, I rest!

Slide 74

I End 72 Lord, teach me to grow from more to more, in the spirit of love, to yield to Thy Perfect Plan, to look with calm eyes on the passing shows of life, to keep my heart unperturbed, my soul content. And make me, Blessed Master, a channel of Thy Love in this sad, sorrow-stricken world!

Slide 75

I End 73 A NEW DAY IS BORN! The night is over, Lord, and a new day is born! It comes to me as a gift out of Thy Spotless Hands. So bless me that I may offer it to Thee in purity and love, in detachment, in loving service of the poor and needy, in unbroken communion with Thee, in constant repetition of the Holy Name! Grant me the strenght to face the difficulties and dangers of the day in a spirit of courage. Let me not lose faith in my fellow-men. And help me to keep my heart pure and stainless and everfree!

Slide 76

I End 74 O Lord, I can no longer live without Thee! Every nerve of my body, every breath of my being cries to Thee:- “Come, Beloved, Come! Reveal Thyself to me!”

Slide 77

I End 75 The years have rolled on: I am far from Home! In the days that yet remain to me, help me, O Lord, to dwell ever more closely with Thee, rejecting all lesser gods – and giving the service of love to all who dwell in the house of poverty and pain!

Slide 78

I End 76 O Lord! Thou art my Guardian and my Guide: Why then dost Thou Thy fair Face hide? Thou art the Music, the song I sing: I am Thy slave, Thou art my King!

Slide 79

I End 77 O Lord, so bless me, that renouncing pride and guile, I may seek refuge at Thy Lotus Feet! Thou art my Support and Strength, my Treasure and my All! Thou art the Way and the Goal. Thou art my Destiny!

Slide 80

I End 78 Teach me, O Lord, to love Thee, not myself! So bless me, that forsaking myself, I may live, all the time, in the thought of Thy Lotus Feet!

Slide 81

I End 79 So bless me, Lord, that I may meet every experience – pleasant or unpleasant – by turning within to Thy loving presence. Every experience is Thy prasadam to this long-separated one. Let me move forward to greet it with the words:- “What message do you bring me from the Beloved?”

Slide 82

I End 80 So bless me, Lord, that, with tear-touched eyes, I may utter Thy Name with every breath of my being. And may I be, Blessed Master, an instrument of Thy help and healing in this world of sickness and suffering. May I work for Thee and serve Thee, until I flow into beauty and love of the Eternal!

Slide 83

I End 81 WATCH OVER ME IN SLEEP The sun hath set: the day is over! In Thy mercy Thou didst take care of me during the day. Thou wilt be by me through the night! While I go to sleep, Thou wilt keep awake, and watch over Thy child! Thou wilt appear to me in my dreams, and I shall smile in my sleep. And after a wonderful night, I shall wake up in the morning refreshed, renewed, strengthened, for the new day’s task!

Slide 84

I End 82 O Lord, pour Thou on me Thy cleansing grace that I may be washed whiter than the snow on Himalayan heights. And so bless me, Blessed Master, that I may love Thee with all my heart and mind and soul. And may I go about looking for opportunities to be of service to those in need!

Slide 85

I End 83 O Lord, free me from every trace of passion, pride and unlovingness. And make me untiring in loving service of my fellow-creatures. And teach me, Blessed Master, to enter into the silence within and wait on Thee!

Slide 86

I End 84 O Lord, so bless me that my mind and heart may gravitate to Thee alone. May I never cease to taste the sweetness of Thy Divine Presence and pass it on to all who cross the pathways of my life! O, taste and see that the Lord is sweet!

Slide 87

I End 85 Thou art the Protector of the weak! Thou art the Saviour of sinners! I, too, am a sinner, Lord! I come to Thee in faith and love. In Thy mercy, take the wanderer Home!

Slide 88

I End 86 Cleanse me, O Lord, and wash me from within. The mirror of my heart is greased – and I can see Thee not! It is only the pure in heart who can behold Thee, face to face. Grant me the dust of the Feet of such holy ones!

Slide 89

I End 87 O Lord, my life is as a boat, tossing hither and thither, on the rolling waves of an angry sea! Thou art the Boatman Divine: I surrender the boat to Thee. Lead it where Thou Wilt!

Slide 90

I End 88 O Lord, so bless our judges and doctors that they may never indulge in malpractices. It is only when judges and doctors depart from the Ideal, that a nation goes the way of decadence and decrepitude!

Slide 91

I End 89 HOLD ME FAST! In the face of temptation, Lord, I feel utterly helpless. I surrender myself to Thee! Thou art my Strength, my Support and Stay! Thou art my Father, my Mother, my All! Hold me Thou in Thy loving Arms, Mother mine, Mother Divine! Thy Strength flows into me. And in Thy Strength, I stand up and face every trial and temptation and come out victorious. All victory belongs to Thee, Mother! Jai, Jai, Jai Jagadambha!

Slide 92

I End 90 So bless me, Lord, that I may speak little, eat little, sleep little, abandon anger and importunity – and dedicate myself to Thy service and the service of Thy little ones!

Slide 93

I End 91 Lord! Grant me the sagacity to eat only that which promotes my health. Grant me the strength to say “no” to that which is detrimental to my well-being. And grant me the wisdom to know the difference between the two.

Slide 94

I End 92 Krishna! What offering may I place at Thy Lotus Feet? All I am and all I have is so inadequate! May my yearning, O Blue-Eyed One, grow from more to more, untill it breaks forth into tears. Let me bring to Thee, a garland of tears – each tear-drop whispering the one word: - Beloved! My heart is broken in love for Thee! In love may I forget myself and be nothing, nothing!

Slide 95

I End 93 O Lord! Make me humble as a blade of grass! Make me simple and unselfconscious as a wayside flower! And so bless me that, like the moth that rushes to burn itself in the flame – I may seek annihilation in the Flame of Thy Love, Beloved!

Slide 96

I End 94 O Lord, I have heard the magic notes of Thy Flute: I cannot tarry! Leaving everything, I come to Thee! Beloved, I come! All I have and am, I surrender unto Thee. Accept me at Thy Lotus Feet, and let me not be from Thee apart!

Slide 97

I End 95 O Lord, I do not desire the pleasures of this transitory existence. I do not hanker after the joys of the hereafter. I do but desire Thee and Thee alone! Thy Love alone I seek!

Slide 98

I End 96 O Lord, Thou alone art; I am naught! Thou art the Source of my strength and power, wisdom and peace. Thou art the Alfa and Omega of my life. Thou art my Eternal Home and Resting-place. Grant me that I may never, for a moment, forget Thee. And so bless me, Blessed Master, that I may share Thy joy and peace with those in need!

Slide 99

I End 97 I FEEL DEEPLY HURT! A friend has deeply hurt my feelings, Lord, and I am totally disturbed. Let me try and understand what it is that has been hurt. It is the empiric self, the ego, the lower self of passion and pride, of desires and appetites, of lust and hatred and greed. It is not the True Self, the Real Self that returns a blessing for every blow, and offers a prayer every time it is persecuted: - “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!” Help me, Lord, to identify myself with the Higher Self, the Real Self, the Self Supreme. Naham! Naham! Tuho! Tuho!

Slide 100

I End 98 I am not! Thou alone art! Lord, kindle in me a new spirit of surrender that I may have no plans of my own. Do Thou plan for me, for I am Thy slave, O Lord! How can a slave have any plans other than those which the Master has for him?

Slide 101

I End 99 O Lord! Thou who art the Friend of the lowly and lonely ones! Befriend me in my loneliness and show me the Light!

Slide 102

I End 100 O Thou who art beyond the reach of the senses and the mind! Reveal Thyself to me!

Slide 103

I End 101 God, grant me a mind that is guileless, innocent, pure, free from every taint of evil – a mind that trusts, never assumes, suspects or jumps to conclusions – a mind that beholds the One in all and then all in One!

Slide 104

I End 102 Teach me, O Lord, to observe all the rules of the game of life, never to lose my sense of humour, and always to hold my tongue when it is difficult to hold it.

Slide 105

I End 103 So bless me, Lord, that I may utilise all my time and energies of thought, will and imagination in self-improvement, so that I may have no time left to criticise others.

Slide 106

I End 104 O Lord! Thou hast granted me the gift of life – and many other gifts! Give me an understanding heart!

Slide 107

I End 105 I HAVE LOST A RING, LORD! I have lost a ring, Lord! I have searched for it here, there, everywhere, but have no found it yet. How can I find it, until Thou enablest me? Thou knowest where it lies. If it be Thy Will that I don’t find it, grant me the wisdom to realise that it never belonged to me. In this open universe, what is mine must come to me. What does not belong to me can never stay with me.

Slide 108

I End 106 What a wonderful world You have created, Lord! And You want everyone of us to have a share of these wonders. So bless me that I may have the wisdom to receive them in the right spirit and live my life to the fullest! And keep me far from greed. May I not covet anything!

Slide 109

I End 107 O Lord, teach me to regard all life as sacred. There is but One Life that flows into all – men and birds and animals, living and non-living things. May I touch everything with love and treat everyone with respect. May I never regard the world as separate from myself. Take away from me all desire to dominate others!

Slide 110

I End 108 O Lord, out of Thy boundless store, grant me the gift of humility so that I may be as You would have me be. You are the Great Sculptor. Sculpt me as You desire!
