Nelson Mandela !!

Born!! Nelson Mandela was born on the 18th of July 1918. His middle name is Rolihlahla. He was born in South Africa in a village called “Transkei”.

Prison !!! Nelson Mandela was sent to prison in 1963. He was sent to prison for being coloured and for sabotaging things and for crime. He was then released on the 11th of February 1990 He was in prison for 27 years.

After released from prison !!! After Mandela was released from prison he plunged himself straight into his life goals that he and others had planned more than four decades ago.

Being President !!!! Nelson Mandela was President from 1994 to 1999. The country Nelson ruled was South Africa. In 2004 Nelson retired from public life to spend more time with friends and family.

South Africa !!!!!! The highest mountain in South Africa is “Njesuthi” it is 3408m. The main city is “Johannesburg” There is at least 47 million people living in South Africa. The currency is called “Zar” well I think so. The longest river is called “Orange river” it is 20,200km long. Another main city is “Mthatha” .

Life !! Nelson Mandela married 3 wives. The first wife was called “Evelyn Mase” They had 3 children They divorced in 1975

Nelson Mandela’s father died of Tuberculosis. It is caused by bacteria building up inside you. It can effect the lungs but can involve in organ of body. Tuberculosis

I started off by finding out information on Nelson Mandela. My information had to fit into history, science and geography. I was looking for Primary 4 upwards to read my powerpoint . If I was to start again I would put more information, more slides, more images and maybe sounds but I am not too sure about sounds. The sides that I would have made if I had to start again would be about more private life and what it was like to be in prison. The images I used suited each slide I made. I used bullet points to separate my work so it was not all in one whole page and if it was like that nobody would want to read it. I am very pleased with my topic but I could start again and do it better. I feel I covered the topic well with a good amount of information. EVALUATION !!
