The Union of Primary and Lower Secondary School nr 2 in Bolesławiec

The Union of Primary and Lower Secondary School nr 2 in Bolesławiec came into being on 1st of September 2007 from fusion of Janusz Kusociński Primary School nr 1 existing since 1986 and Lower Secondary School nr 1 arised in 1999.

Currently the school consists of 813 students in 30 classes. eTwinning projects are implemented in the library of the primary school, which contains 513 students in 20 classes. 

We have been awarded with the Certificate of a School Supporting Talents and a School Caring for Safety.

We are proud of our Innovative School and Talents Discoverers' School titles.

In 2010 we got the Interkl@sa Quality Mark and the Euroregion Nysa Award.

We are the School of Safe Internet, the School without violence, and the School With Sport Tradition.  

Twice we have been honoured with an award for promoting Bolesławiec.   

The Projects implemented in the school library are very succesful in the country as well as in Europe.   

Students get awards in subject contests and in sport competitions, actively taking part in the school life.   

We have great didactical base: four computer science rooms, multimedia centre in the school library, wireless Internet access everywhere in the school.

Last year there was an openning of modern multimedia natural science room for students and teachers.

We have also an excellent sport base: a complex of sports fields with an artificial surface - Orlik 2012, two full-scale, well equiped sports halls and halls for recreational exercises.

30 class rooms, a canteen, a socio-therapeutic community centre, a special building for the youngest students, a fun room and a common room are the reason why our students have great circumstances for learning and resting as well.
