The 11 of November The Independence Day

Some facts from history of Poland That day is very important for all Polish. On 11 of November in 1918 Poland regain freedom after 123 years of Russia, Prusy and Austria ‘s captivity. This anniversary is also connected with Józef Pilsudski – one of the greatest politician and commander in polish history.

The 11 of November in our school We celebrate this anniversary in special way. Children at schools always prepare performances commemorative this day. At the beginning of performance children sang polish, hymn „Mazurek Dąbrowskiego”. There were also sung patriotic songs like: „Żeby Polska była Polską” or „Rota” .
