How to Write an Article from Your Speech, By Wayne Kronz Mountains by morgueFile.com WayneKronz.blogspot.com
Since most seven- minute Toastmaster speeches are around 1000 words in length, you will want to publish your speech as “Part 1” and “Part 2,” or 500 words each. 1. Transcribe your speech into a MS Word doc. 2. Go to ezinearticles.com and open an account there. Simply follow the prompts. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
3. Now comes the complicated part. Consider what key words someone might search to find your article. 4. Do a Google search for Google Keyword Tool and in the Find Keywords field, enter your keyword, say “gardening.” You’ll then have to enter the crazy looking security code and then click “search.” WayneKronz.blogspot.com
You will then be presented with two pages of the top keywords 100 keywords related to your primary keyword “gardening.” What you are hunting is a keyword or keyword phrase that will make the best, first words of your title of your article. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
You are also wanting to use keywords that have from 20,000 to 200,000 “global monthly searches” per month. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
Your first words might include, “Organic Gardening” (74,000 searches per month) and then add the words, “Made Easy” or “on the Week Ends,” sometimes called title enhancers. Do not add any word to the front of your key word phrase shown in the Google Keyword Tool. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
When people do their 74,000 each month, the words “organic gardening” will maximize the number of people who come to (and read) your article. Organic Gardening Made Easy is a perfect title for your article. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
Finally, follow the prompts to post your speech as two separate articles, one “Part One” and “Part Two.” WayneKronz.blogspot.com
Be sure to include a paragraph about yourself with a link to your website, blog or Facebook page. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
P.S. The search term, “how to write an article” produces 165,000 global searches per month, so I added the words “from your speech.” It makes a perfect title for Toastmasters who wish to post their speech to the web as an article. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
P.P.S. I am also going to do some “search engine optimization” with this article. Here are two things almost anyone can do. I’m going to turn this article into a “text” slideshow and post it on slideboom.com and second, I’m going to short review video and post it on YouTube.com. Wish me luck! I’ll let you know what kind of results I get. WayneKronz.blogspot.com
