School № 16 was opened in 1942. At first there were only  45-48 students. Nowadays   more than 1300 students are taught in our school. The emblem of our school is the Globe is standing on books. General information

Our school is a comprehensive and co-educational school. It includes primary (from 1 to 4 grades), secondary (from 5 to 9 grades) and higher (10,11 grades) schools. The school year is divided into four terms. There are four holiday periods between terms during the school year (summer, autumn, winter and spring holidays). Lessons last 40 minutes and breaks 5 min (except lunch break, it lasts 15 minutes).
