How is it celebrated? In the UK families and friends meet in their houses to have lunch or dinner in the most special days. The royal family gives to the population of the country a speech. They speak about the good and bad things that happened in the year. They also whish merry Christmas to the people. People decorate their houses with Christmas trees, colored lights and with snowmen or Father Christmas dolls. They also hung garlands of holly in their door.

How is it celebrated? People who believe in God goes to the churches to celebrate the birth of Christ and to pray for him. Everybody send Christmas cards wishing merry Christmas to their family and friends

Meals Roast turkey with all the trimmings is at the center of a British Christmas. Those traditional trimmings include stuffing, it can be any of your choice, bacon rolls, roast potatoes and turkey gravy Yorckside pudding will come to the table in addition to the potatoes.

Presents. 24th December, Christmas Eve, is a very important night for children, because it is this night when Father Christmas (St. Nicolas) goes to the kids’ houses and leave presents for them. He leaves the presents under the Christmas tree or inside the christmas socks .

Father Christmas He is an old man with long white hair and who is dressed with a red and white coat. He also wears a red and white christmas hat. He is the most important person in christmas for children, because he is who gives them the presents. He travels in a sleigh led by reineer.
