How to Play PS1 Games on the iPhone

With your iPhone, you can send and receive email and navigate the Internet. Even though you can download games from the app store, chances are you will not find PlayStation 1 (PS1) games. However, you can use your iPhone's Web browser to play emulator games directly from the Internet. To play the games, you need either a Wi-Fi connection or a data plan. Once you're connected, you can play the games as you would on your computer.

#1 Turn on your iPhone. Slide the bar across the screen to unlock it. Wait for the main menu to appear.

#2 Tap the "Safari" Web browser. Navigate to a website that has PS1 emulator games. Examples include ROM Hustler, ePSXe and Emu Paradise (see Resources).

#3 Enter the website's URL. Press the "GO" button. Wait for the website to load on your iPhone.

#4 Tap the PS1 game list. Look through the list to find the game you want to play. Tap the game's name to open it.

#5 Read the game play instructions, and tap "Start" or "Go" to play the game.
