Made By Brandon and Braiden The Canadian Flag and Canada Day
Canada Day Canada Day is celebrated because on July 1, 1867, Canada became a country. Canada Day was called Dominion Day until 1982. In 1983 it was changed to Canada Day. My favorite part of Canada Day is the games.
Canada Day activities On Canada Day we have a lot of parades, games and fireworks. On Campobello there are mostly fire trucks ,police cars, ambulances in the parade. Some people make floats and throw candy and stuff.
When The Canadian Flag Was Made The Canadian Flag was made in 1965. The red maple leaf has 11 points. The points have no meaning. The flag is in red and white. The person to make the flag was George Stanley . The flag is widely displayed on Canada Day.
Why It’s Red And White In 1921, King George V made Canada's colours red and white. Not for any reason, just because he said those are our colours. On Canada Day, people paint Their faces red and white and wear red and white clothes.
The Union Jack Flag The Union Jack flag was replaced by the Canadian flag that we know now.
National Flag Day National Flag Day is on February 15 because on February 15, 1965 the flag was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill. Queen Elizabeth II officially made Flag Day on January 28, 1965.
The Canadian Flag Rules The Canadian flag must be flown on its own pole. Should be treated better than other flags.
The End Thank you for watching this presentation, goodbye.
