Jesus was baptized to demonstrate His willingness to surrender His life to bring salvation to the people and to announce that “I am ready to give it all.”

Acts 2:22-41 Romans 6:1-14

We are baptized to come in contact with the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We are baptized to demonstrate that we dying to the old ways and committing to live the new life given to us by Jesus Christ.

We are baptized to announce to the world that we have surrendered to God almighty.
