Why is John W. Tilford Running? Because he’s seen the disrespectful treatment of Social Security and Department of Veterans Affairs disability claimants. Waiting for years is too long. Because he supports health care for all citizens. Because he supports an educated, internationally competitive, and equitably paid workforce. Because there is waste and inefficiency in government – including Congress!

What Legislation Would He Introduce Correct Social Security Disability and VA claims adjudication. “Deny, appeal, deny, appeal, pay a representative, granted” is hurtful and wasteful. Restore citizens’ privacy taken by the Bush “Protect America Act.” Provide “Space Available” military flight eligibility to 100% service connected disabled veterans.

In Cooperation with Other Representatives, John will: Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Provide at least minimal health care for all citizens. Invest in education and infrastructure. Reduce deficit by cutting waste.
