How-To stick a paperclip through a balloon with popping it By: Blake H. & Andrew R. Don’t open this book! Warning! Balloons can explode!

Introduction & Materials In this How-To you will learn How-To stick a paperclip into a balloon without popping it. You will want to do this because it will impress your friends because usually you would pop the balloon if you stuck something through like a paperclip. Vaseline, a balloon, a paperclip and a pump.

Step 1 Stretch out the balloon until it is thin. Make sure it is not a water balloon. Make sure it is a regular balloon without holes. When you stretch your balloon, pull it tight, but not TOO tight, or it will rip.

Step 2 Blow up your balloon. Make sure you don’t blow it up too much or it will explode. Also don’t blow it up too minute or it will not pop properly. Make sure you tie the balloon.

Step 3 Poke the paper-clip in Vaseline. Don’t get it in your eye. This will sting your eye! It might be a bit sticky!

Step 4 If you see a dark spot on the top of your balloon, poke the paper clip through that spot. On the bottom, do that same thing right next to the part where you blow it up. Do NOT use any thing other than a paper-clip or a needle or it might explode and it might hurt your ears. Definitely do not use a pencil. We’re just trying to give you a warning people!    

Step 5  Now you are done! You have done your assignment! This will impress your friends! Go ahead and show’em!
