World Instrument Book Throughout the quarter, several lessons about world cultural music are taught The project allows students to research instruments from around the world and create a book Internet research is used as well as classroom magazines and books Students research the instrument and culture of the region where the instrument was invented Students present their book at the end of the project

Lessons Learned Students liked the choice of 4 different projects Students got very interested in their research Six instruments is too many to require for the kind of in depth research I wanted Incorporating sound clips and a projection of the project might work really well in the future Bringing the books into other classrooms and presenting would be a good display of student work
