Finally, now you can get the look & the life you’ve always wanted with… The Real Fashion Secrets by Rebel Holiday Basic Intro Course 1*:*True*:*True*:**:*True*:**:*The Real Fashion Secrets - Course 1

Slide 2

What Do Your Clothes Have in Common? They were mostly all purchased by you. Okay, so you were talked into some of them by friends. (Big help they were.) Not saying this to make you feel bad, it’s just reality. Before you can change a reality… … you have to tell the truth about it.

Slide 3

You Haven’t Known A Better Way If you knew a better way, you’d probably be using it. And, it’s just what’s so. And, so what?

Slide 4

Finally, A System that Works! Until we developed this system, I had all these same problems. After years we now have a solution. Proven on thousands of my private clients in our centers. This is a logical, understandable, easy-to-apply method for exactly what looks good on any individual. In this case, YOU.

Slide 5

Your Goals & Desires? Yes, I want to: Look the best I reasonably can. Look healthy, not ill -- and rested, not tired. Appear youthful -- not prematurely old. Look like my true “Self”... an optimal version. Understand how it really works. Be “in control” of the visual messages I express. Definitely want to like what I see in the mirror.

Slide 6

Simple Basic Premises To satisfy those goals & desires: Premise #1 - YOU are more important than your clothing. Premise #2 - The purpose of your clothing is to enhance YOU. Premise #3 - Your clothing should give you the look & feeling or experience that you want in a particular situation. Premise #4 - You can be in control of your look & impact.

Slide 7

Natural & Logical Conclusions If you agree with the premises, then: Harmony is more desirable than disharmony. Balance is preferable to imbalance. Congruence is critical. The “parts" of your of your look must stick together, and… …the “message” must be right for you.

Slide 8

All Styles Do Not Look The Same on You Mannequins are faceless figures that can wear anything equally well. You will look much better in some lines, shapes, colors, and textures… …than you look in others.

Slide 9

The Secret Reasons Are About You The secrets are specific reasons that you can learn and understand for precisely what looks good, bad (or passable) on YOU! It’s powerful to know the secrets and how they apply. Now, let’s talk about YOU.

Slide 10

You Are Unique You are a unique individual with a particular and special set of characteristics…

Slide 11

Everything About You Goes Together It is not known that there is a “pattern” in how everything about you (skin, hair, eye colors, textures, shapes & scale in bone structure) goes together.

Slide 12

You are Part of Nature Although each one is unique, there are harmonious patterns people… …in snowflakes …there are harmonious patterns in leaves and animals.

Slide 13

We Studied the Patterns in Faces Distinct & precise variations create your Harmony Pattern™ You are born with this pattern & you have it all your life.

Slide 14

Your Harmony Pattern™ Your Coloring skin coloration hair color eye colors Your Textures skin textures hair textures Your Shapes shapes in facial features Your Scale scale in facial features Your Design the design that is created is Your Harmony Pattern™

Slide 15

Harmony Around the World This Harmony Pattern™ applies in exactly the same ways to all women (& men) regardless of their look, nationality, ethnicity, racial heritage, or age. It’s a natural pattern that we’re born with & have all our lives.

Slide 16

Your Harmony Pattern™ Determines Your Harmony Pattern™ (in your face) accurately determines your best Design Elements for clothes! Colors Line Shape Scale & Size Texture

Slide 17

Your Harmony Pattern™ Applies to Where are design elements? In everything, including your: Colors - applies to everything – clothing, accessories and makeup! Lines - necklines, hemlines, lengths of jackets & skirts, stripes, trim Shapes - lapels, collars, pockets, prints, bags, hats, shoes, jewelry Scale - size of jewelry, handbags, lapels, hats, shoes, glasses, prints… Textures - types of fabrics & surfaces, look of texture in patterns, Designs - prints, motifs, & concepts Overall Styles - types of styles & looks to wear (& avoid) in clothing Overall Accessories - styles & looks to wear (& avoid) in accessories Make-up - colors & looks to wear (& avoid) in makeup Hairstyles - styles & looks to wear (& avoid)

Slide 18

Begin Seeing Design Elements Natural or man-made, everything you see is has only 5 basic Design Elements. Start looking for them. Colors Line Shape Scale & Size Texture

Slide 19

You Are More Important This system is based on YOU. And the idea that YOU are more important… than your clothing. Let’s look at some examples….

Slide 20

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The black & gray striped top overpowers & dominates. Red dress is much more harmonious on the same woman. Now we see her.

Slide 21

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The lines in the short jacket are too short on her. (Looks almost silly.) Needs medium to medium-long lines. In the white top, she looks balanced & harmonious.

Slide 22

Why You Want to Know Your Best Lines The wrong lines: Can make you look shorter, heavier, dumpy or goofy. The right lines: Can make you look more slender, taller, or harmonious. Think about lines before you buy: Jacket & coat styles and lengths; skirt styles & length; hemlines, necklines, lapels, collars Necklaces, stripes, prints, hairstyle & more… Your Harmony Pattern™ predicts your best lines.

Slide 23

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The print on the left is too large for her Harmony Pattern™ -- it dominates her. The finer, delicate lace in off-white is harmonious and good on same woman.

Slide 24

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The design in the gray sweater is too small for her Harmony Pattern™ -- it looks busy & distracting. In the red top, you see the same woman -- her face comes forward & she looks good.

Slide 25

Why You Want to Know Your Scale If scale is too big for you – it overpowers you. If scale is too small – it can look dinky, busy, or silly. Scale applies to your: Clothing styles (jackets, skirts, tops, etc.) Necklines, collars and lapels, pockets, trim, buttons, details Purses, totes, shoes, boots, hats, glasses Prints & designs Watches, Jewelry (rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets) Hairstyles Your Harmony Pattern™ determines your scale & size.

Slide 26

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The scale of the brown jacket: too large for her; heavy & overpowering. Fasteners too big for her. That color of brown is not great. The scale of the rose jacket, the smaller scale detailing and length are much better. Texture & color are better on this woman.

Slide 27

The Power of Color Color is the most impactful design element. A powerful tool, color influences how we feel and how others feel looking at us. It can be calming or energizing. A person “sees red, feels blue, is green with envy.”

Slide 28

So, What Can Go Wrong with Color? A lot can go wrong with your colors. Incorrect colors will be disharmonious or distracting -- or worse. What are the most common problems with colors? The wrong colors change your skin color & make you look “bad.” If it is too bright -- it will overpower you visually. If it is too dull -- the fabric can look old and make you look dull. If it is either too light or dark, for you it will “stick out” on you. Correct color selections will be harmonious and not distract from you. They will “blend” visually & you will see the person first. Want to see some examples?

Slide 29

Disharmony & Harmony Too bright, harsh, distracting, washes her out. Same girl. Looking balanced in good color.

Slide 30

Disharmony & Harmony Wrong purple brings out yellow in her skin, making her look sallow. Same woman looks balanced with pretty, healthy skin tone.

Slide 31

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The color of the pink sweater is too bright for her and looks overpowering. The color of green sweater is much more harmonious and better on this woman.

Slide 32

Disharmony Harmony Color looks dull & old. Colors at right brightness level.

Slide 33

Why You Want To Wear the Right Colors Due to scientifically-based Principles of Color Interaction, certain color hues affect your skin tone with positive skin colors. The result? You will look healthy, youthful, radiant in your best colors. These blend & harmonize with you. Your clothing mixes & matches easily. Caution about simplistic types of color analysis… Many approaches are simplistic & unworkable, even silly. Avoid systems putting everyone into just a couple categories. Avoid systems that give each person only 20-30 colors. You must have 150-200 colors that give you color ranges!

Slide 34

Disharmony & Harmony What do you see first, The woman – --or the clothes? The texture in the sweater is overpowering her. Oversized looks is not good either. The color is too dull. The smoother, lighter fabric (right) is much more flattering. Short, finer, lighter lines also better on her. (The color is one the edge – it’s as bright as she can go!)

Slide 35

Why You Want to Know Your Textures Wrong textures can look: Bulky, thick, heavy, stiff, flimsy, or droopy on you. Texture applies to your: Fabrics in all your clothing (weight, surface, drape) Surfaces of all accessories: purses, tote bags, shoes & boots, hats, glasses, jewelry, watches, Hairstyles Your Harmony Pattern™ determines your best textures.

Slide 36

Secrets You’re Already Learning You are already learning… Basic Principles of Harmony to get your look right Visual examples of principles Design Elements: Color, Line, Shape, Scale, Texture Missing information you’ve needed Training your eye

Slide 37

You Are Training Your Eye You’re seeing new distinctions & training your eye. A distinction is a “difference.” Some distinctions may be clear, once pointed out & others less obvious. Some people see them more easily. Like a good ear for music. Anyone can train their eye to make new visual distinctions. As you learn, be patient with yourself. Remember this is supposed to be fun!

Slide 38

Discovering & Seeing Harmony Patterns™ in Women (It’s easier to see it in others first)

Slide 39

What Do We See In A Harmony Pattern™? Can you see lightness, clarity, brightness, refined features, & an element of softness? Can you see the warmth, gold, earthiness, depth, angularity, & stronger features?

Slide 40

What Is the Harmony Pattern™? Dominant Pattern: LIVELY™ Dominant Pattern: DYNAMIC™

Slide 41

Harmony Pattern™ Is More Than Hair Color STRIKING™ - More contrast, intensity, clarity, refinement, & symmetry. DYNAMIC™ - More warmth (gold) in their skin, more angularity, heavier features, & more texture.
