The Commons First thing you’ll see! It’s where we eat lunch It’s where you wait for the day to begin and eat breakfast (if you aren’t eating breakfast, you wait in the gym)

After lunch is “Break Time” Please return your tray when finished Break is 10-12 minutes Hang out and chat in The Commons Visit the Library Play Four Square outside (Basketball in the gym in the winter)

Star Tickets/Recognition If caught doing good things and showing good behavior, you might get STAR Tickets These tickets can be turned in for prizes Each grade level celebrates positive behavior each quarter and at the end of the year, but only for the students who have earned it. Plus, weekly positive notes and calls! So, remember to be Safe, Tolerant, Accountable, and Respectful…..STAR!

Things to Think About/Remember 6th grade is a new year and a new beginning Change will happen in Middle School and change is okay and can be good. Have fun, get involved, and work hard and you will do great. When in doubt, ask questions. The students AND teachers were all new to middle school once before and know what you are going through!

Green Class Forms Have Parent look at form and talk about it with you Decide if you want to do Band or Choir Return form to your teacher next week!!!
