Why Personal Mission Statements Are Important Personal mission statements allow a person to identify what their final goal should be, that way, the person can always have a clear end in mind.

How to Make a Personal Mission Statement Personal mission statements don't have to be written out rules. They can be a poem, a song, a photograph, or a video. Example: I will live by my own policies. I will sleep with a clear conscience. I will sleep in peace. Source: 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, page 81
