THE ART OF MAKING MOTANKA DOLLS AND TOYS IS SAID TO GO BACK 7 000 YEARS. People used to make angels, rabbits, cats and other toys for their children. When hanging over the crib, motankas guard the baby and keep away illness, “bad spirits” and “evil eye.”
