The CAUPD/ Space Syntax design union researched this history and recovered many elements of it in the final design. Key findings 主要成果 Executive Summary The proposed growth strategy does not address the current problems of the city – namely that the primary structure of the city is fragmented in places and is not supported by a strong secondary structure. 城市发展方案未发现城市的问题，即城市基本布局较破碎，缺乏次结构。 Proposed growth does not integrate well with the existing city, or with other proposed developments. 城市发展方案未很好整合旧城以及其他新城方案。 This is likely to further increase the pressure on the primary network and these areas could compete with the existing city centre. 这可能给现有道路网增加压力，与现有中心恶性竞争。
