Why would teens use drugs? Society Domestic Problems Peer-Pressure School Depression Low-Self Esteem Stress They want an ESCAPE They think they will make them fit in They think it wont hurt to try They think they will make their problems go away
The truth about drugs….. Teens might think that doing drug are going to help them fit in, or that it would make them look “cool”. But in reality, it doesn’t really work like that. Drugs mess up your life completely, and you’re wrong if you think they will solve any of your problems. Drugs may seem like the right thing at some point but its just a complete mistake. Most people that did drugs at a young age regret that decision as they get older. The more your body consumes, the harder it is for your body to get use to not having them in your system. Drugs are easy to get into, but extremely to let go. Teens need to be more careful at making decisions, especially at this age. Drugs can hit only once and make a huge impact. Point is that drugs can never be the right choice and you should never consider them as an alternative. Drugs make you feel, act, and even look different.
What is the effect of drugs on teens? It changes how your body works They can even kill you They ruin your life You loose friends Your health weakens Problems increase They harm your body and brain
This should be stopped Because it ruins lives.
How teens act under the influence of drugs They act more violent towards people They change to a different crowed of friends They stay in their rooms all day They have less interaction with the world
How can they get help? Teens need to remember that it is never too late to quit any drugs and that pretty much anybody can help them find their way out. There is Rehab Centers, where a teen can go in, with or without choice to get help. They learn to deal with a drug-free environment. There is also hot lines where a teen can call at anytime of the day and talk to someone about their problems and get help. Teens can star quitting any type of drug whenever. They can ask a family member, a friend, and even a complete stranger for help. They can go into therapy. Talking with someone who will listen and understand and give you advice is a good way to go because you feel like you’re not alone in this.
Over coming drug abuse… Decide to make a change Explore your treatment options Reach out for help Learn healthy ways to cope with stress Keep triggers and craving in check Build a meaningful and drug-free life Don’t let relapse keep you down
Of course, over coming any type of drug Is hard, especially if its addiction. You have to really want to quit for good, you have To commit to yourself. Also remember that You are not the only that has gone through This and its not impossible to reach your goals. This is mostly important for your own benefit, but its also very important for everyone around you that loves you. You can be happy and achieve greater things without the use of drugs. All drugs will ever bring is chaos. If you think they count as some “Stress releaser” you are completely mistaking. After the drugs ware out you feel even more down, stress, or depressed. Drugs are horrible, and that’s something everyone should know. Drugs change people and its time that people change the control drugs have over them. You have given into drugs for many reasons, but you can not let the drugs win over their life. They shouldn’t be scared to ask for help. Help is what they need. Everyone deserves a drug-free life.
