What comes with being a parent? Being a parent requires a lot of responsibilities that most off us teens don’t have when a baby is about to come because we are not prepared for it. I am going to tell you what they are and take it seriously because I am going through this situation and is not easy.

Teen parents! Here in the United Sates there are 95% of teens that get pregnant each year. But the real thing is that they are not ready for what may come with that baby. Yes you may say that you are a parent but you are not even sure what that means. Most of the teens of today have relationships with out protecting them self's and they end up becoming parents. At that moment you have put on you a great responsibility that will last 18 or more years. Early pregancy comes with a big package.

Starting the process of parents! Well most of us teens will have to get check ups! We have to stop doing things we did for fun! Take great care of our self's when pregnant! This is for girls. We have to buy all the things that the baby is going to need!( $442.00) a month or more. Bills are coming in the way! Thoughts of what you may be doing wrong or if you are doing things the write way you can also think if the baby is ok, what does it need, is he/she ok, and many other things.

THE EFFECTS OF TEEN PREGNANCY! What are the things that can happen when teens get pregnant are? Teens drop out of high school and never finish there school. Teens tend to get lower grades at school. Because they feel bad or they don’t get good sleep. In some cases the teens don’t get together to take care of the baby. Almost all the time the mother get’s left alone and she has to take care of the baby by her self. If you plan to do things wrong stay together tell the end like a team!

You can get affected! We as women can lose a lot of friend. We also feel like we always what to be in a room by ourselves. We lose the confidence of our parents And much more

To prevent pregnancy! To protect your self from a great responsibility you have to avoid having sexual relation ships Use protection if you are having sexual intercourse such as condoms. Avoid using drugs so you wont do any thing that will later affect your teen life like becoming a parent. Use contraceptives that will prevent you from becoming parents! Some examples are control pills, spermicides, female or male condoms, and more.

About me….. I am a teen that is in this situation I did not take control of my actions and I ended having a little girl. I was 16 when I turn out pregnant and I tell you that I did not know what to do when I knew I was like that. I lost my parents confidence and they did not talk to me for a long time. It was a hard time for me because I did not know what to do. I felt bad, I did not wanted to go out, I thought of many things but the only thing that made me keep going was to know that I had a little life inside me. Yes I suffered a lot but I always thought of my baby and that made me stronger and stronger even more. I was fighting with anything in my way. I was determined to show all the people who talk bad a bout me that I was not letting my self down. And that I could do my things by my own with out help.

About me… All the things changed for me know I have to be very careful with her I have to pay bills I have to take her to the doctor I have to make sure she does not get sick I have to wake up at the time she does and it is not easy for me because I have to come to the school I have to loose some time of being with her because I have to come to school Some times I can’t come to school and I loose some of my learning All this happened to me and it has totally changed my life I am not the little girl that use to go out, party, and never had a thing to worry about. I have become more mature for good Know I understand that what mom’s tell us is for the good of us.

Trust me girls it is not easy to have a great responsibility like a baby I have been through many things and I really think of the things that my mom told me that I did not listen Don’t experience been a parent because you are going to miss your pass life But after all the things that happen with my pregnancy I can say that I am happy with my little angel I know that I am doing a good job been a mother I have someone to think about know It is hard but I have to do my best to demonstrate to all those people who talk about me that I did got pregnant at a early age but I kept going. I know that I am a good mother and all the people tell that even my mom. When they said that will not do it when I had my baby.

Get ready for it! Get ready to take care of a little person who came to your life to make you happy!
