CONTENTS FIVE KINGDOMS MONERA PROTISTA FUNGI PLANTAE ANIMALIA

Slide 4

MONERA This kingdom monera includes various types of bacteria. These organisms do not posses well-defined nucleus or organelles and also do not exhibit multicellular body designs. Some of them have cell walls; while others do not .

Slide 5

PROTISTA This kingdom includes many types of unicellular eukaryotic micro-organisms. Their mode of nutrition is either autotrophic or heterotrophic. They have nuclei and each posses defensive organs.

Slide 6

Fungi These are group of heterotrophic eukaryotic organisms. Many of these organisms posses the capacity to become multicellular organisms at certain stages in their lives. They possess cell wall, composed of tough complex sugar, called chitin.

Slide 7

Plantae This kingdoms includes multicellular eukaryotes with cell walls. They are autotrophs and perform photosynthesis with the help of chlorophyll. All plants are included in this kingdom.

Slide 8

Types of plantae :- Thallophyta Bryophyta Pteridophyta Gymnosperms Angiosperms

Slide 9

Animalia This kingdom includes all organisms, which are multicellular eukaryotes without cell wall. These organisms are heterotrophic, which are depend upon plants for their food. Their waste matter is eliminated by excretory organs.

Slide 10

Types of animalia:- Porifera Coelenterata Platyhelminthes Nematoda Annelida Arthropoda Mollusca Echinodermata Protochordata Vertebrata
