Five simple rules that govern all Buyer/Seller relationships. Five rules that come down to two words: Like and Respect. The question, of course, is who are we today to our customers? How do they see us? If we’re brutally honest, do they believe that we like them? Do they believe that ultimately we are genuinely interested in their welfare and results, not just making a sale? We can ignore these rules and still make sales – many sales reps do every day; but ask yourself who will sell more at the end of the day! People buy from people People buy from people they like & respect People prefer not to buy from people they don’t like People like people who like them People respect people who they believe work to be honest, are empathetic, and are interested in more than themselves Who are you to your customers?
